Ancillary Text Promo

Here is what my final ancillary text would look like in iTunes, this is a software that most people use now and they will have this album artwork on their iPod's and iPhones, so its important that the album artwork looks right in a cover flow and works well. All artists will have their songs available to download on the iTunes Store too, so its important that I make sure my artist could sell records and digital sales through iTunes in order for them to be popular. If my artist was to sell their music anywhere and promote it highly, it would be on iTunes.

iPod's are what they get transfered onto when they have purchased the song through iTunes, so not only does the album artwork have to look good on iTunes, but also on the iPod too. Here is what the album artwork would look like on an iPod touch, which is the most popular iPod used by my target audience.

Most of my target audience also use iPod's and iPhones a lot so its important to me to make sure that the album artwork looks well on these devices, as they would be seen all the time when the song would be played. I think that in stores the CD design would also look good due to the colour standing out and catching people's attention, but I do think now that digital media is taking over that I should concentrate on this type of market more, as my target audience buy their music more on-line.
