This picture show's all the conventions in which are needed for a digipack. Conventions are important not only just for the music video but also for the digipack. When creating my digipack, I will look at these conventions and make sure that my digipack has most of these on them other wise the audience might not buy it. I want it to stand out to my audience and for it to look realistic.
One main convention for a digipack is the main image and the surrounding images for the rest of the digipack. A digipack needs these to promote the artist in the best way possible. If its a good image of the artist then it shows them off and makes it stand out to the audience in a good way. It usually is a clear image of them and it has text next to it, which is usually the artist name and the album title. These again are really important and let the audience know the relevant information needed.
Title's of the tracks are important also on the back to let the audience know which tracks are called what? Its best to lay these out clearly so the audience know these really well, as they dont want to get the track names wrong. The back usually has some images too to promote the artist, having images on the back too means that they can get their point across as much as possible and the audience can see the most from the artist, the images will interlink with each other too and there should be a theme, so for example with the Beyonce digipack, it seems to be a powerful and strong theme because on the front and also the back they are powerful images and she looks strong in emotion.
The disc design is again important, some artist's have a big design on their CD, and some others only have the name of the album and the artist name, it just depends again on the artist and what the theme is on the album. On Beyonce's album, its very simple and there is just text, which is good, it shows what the artist is called and when its too fussy it doesnt look good inside of the case especially with the other images too.
The way that the CD is layed out is also important too, as it means that this is what the audience is seeing straight away and if it is not layed out properly then it could be hard for them to spot, so for example if the image was in the top left corner, then people would not spot it straight away and know who it was.
